Scholarships for training on conservation of documentary heritage in Peru, Bolivia and Mexico

This year the course of training in management and conservation of archives and heritage libraries of the CODICIS project. The participating people, scholarship winners and chosen via competition, must replicate what they learned during the training.

It will take place in the second half of 2022.

The course

The scholarships will benefit 60 people who are part of the Latin American universities of the CODICIS consortium; 10 participants will be chosen for each one. These people will be future trainers with the ability to cooperate, find solutions in their countries and develop effective strategies.

The aim is to develop highly qualified and internationally accredited training, which will foster cooperation.

This training involves knowledge of the national and local reality regarding documentary collections and archives, the politics and laws in this regard, as well as local history, the production of books, their circulation, printing presses, among other aspects. The format will be hybrid; in-person and virtual.
