International course on management and conservation of documentary heritage concluded satisfactorily

The project “Strengthening capacities for the recovery and conservation of documentary and bibliographic heritage in Latin America” (Codicis) , funded by the program Erasmus+ of the European Commission, trained professionals on aspects related to the treatment, digitization and dissemination of historical and heritage collections.

Through hybrid sessions, a diagnosis was carried out on the situation of the archives and libraries holding the documentary heritage of Peru, Mexico and Bolivia. Likewise, the training modules addressed topics such as heritage centers, center management, collection policies, archival treatment of historical/heritage collections, description and access to ancient books, history of books and printing, preventive conservation, digitization. and they did, and dissemination.
