Delivery of certificates: CODICIS International Course “Management and Conservation of Heritage Archives and Libraries”

Within the framework of the Erasmus Project Program CODICES , culminates the “Training course for trainers in management and conservation of archives and Heritage Libraries” Taught by professional specialists, in the area of Archives and Heritage Libraries of the European Universities of Catania (Italy) and Barcelona (Spain). The course was held from September 1 to January 31, 2023 in virtual and in-person practical mode. The participating universities were the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés and the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” . In the same way, the courses were replicated in universities in Mexico and Peru.

In the act of delivery of certificates, the authorities of the Bolivian Catholic University Tarija Headquarters stand out about the work of the administrators of the UCB Headquarters Tarija , María Rosario Cavero Rodríguez; Danny Ávalos Garrido; Vilma Choquehuanca Zeballos and Valeria Arduz Murillo, from the Central Library of the La Paz Headquarters Jose Manuel Velásquez Cespedes and Miriam Tancara Mamani. All of them successfully completed the course and obtained their certification in recognition of their dedication and effort.  

The event ends with words of gratitude, to the CODICIS Project and to the European teachers, who imparted their knowledge with great passion in the conservation and recovery of documentary and bibliographic heritage.
